Sunshine, the little golden pony, wanted to take a walk in the nearby forest. She said, "Good-Bye!" to all of her barn friends. "Good-Bye Apache, Bugsey and Sundown", she whinnied.
The forest was full of life, the forest was beautiful. The forest was noisy with birds, possums, raccoons, deer and squirrels. Sunshine stopped to listen. The animals talked about a little boy laying under a tree fast asleep. He was lost. The birds asked Sunshine to help the little, lost boy. The possums asked Sunshine to help the little, lost boy. The deer asked Sunshine to help the little, lost boy. The raccoons asked Sunshine to help the little, lost boy. "Where do I go?", asked Sunshine.
A brown squirrel squeeked with delight, jumped up and pointed towards an old oak tree with a giant umbrella of leaves. In the soft leaves layed the young boy.
Sunshine trotted over to the boy and nuzzled him awake with her soft nose. She layed down for the boy to crawl upon her back. Sunshine stood up and headed for the barn.
The boy fell asleep on her soft back. He was so tired.
Back at the barn, the people called the police. The boy was happy when his parents arrived.
The whole family hugged sunshine and gave her an apple as a reward. Sunshine was happy.
