Sunshine was very excited. She heard that a new baby palomino was
coming to Shady Oaks Ranch. Sunshine heard that the horse transport
company her nose. The baby did not have a name and she was 10
months old. Her golden palomino color had a splash of white. Three legs had stockings. here and there as she
really was a paint. On her face was a great, big blaze that twisted from the left near her ears
to the right near thought she was the sweetest thing they had every seen.
"What shall we name her?" Sunshine asked Apache, the old
palomino.
"Let's call her BLAZE because her face is so white. "Maybe," remarked
Sunshine.
"What shall we name her?" Sunshine asked Sundown, the active
palomino.
Let's call her SUNBEAM because she shines when the sun is on her
back."
"Maybe," remarked Sunshine.
"What shall we name her?" Sunshine asked Bugsy, the easy going
palomino.
" Let's call her GINGER because or SUGAR because she is so sweet."
" Maybe," remarked Sunshine.
" I can't decide on a name , yet. I guess we all need to meet
her first. We might call her BUTTERSCOTCH or even HOPSCOTCH when we meet her.
" What do you think is a good name?" asked Sunshine.
