"SUNSHINE WANTS TO GO TO SCHOOL"

Sunshine was trotting down to the town. She saw children carrying books on their backs as they headed to school. Sunshine followed the children to school. She looked inside the window.

The children sat at desks and opened their books. The teacher pointed to some marks on the blackboard. What could that be?

Sunshine looked at the dirt under her hooves. The shoes had made prints in the sand. So the marks must mean that the children are going somewhere. Sunshine waited.

A bell rang and all of the children ran out with their books heading for home. Sunshine saw the prints of their shoes in the sand. It did not look like the marks on the blackboard. What was on the board?

Sunshine went up the stairs into the school room. The teacher said, "I saw you watching me write on the board. We wrote a story about a pony who cam to school. The pony we wrote about was you. These words describe your smile and happiness in being at this school. You are always welcomed. Come back again."

Sunshine liked the teacher and decided to come again another day to school.
