Valerie Fischer Hardy is a highly experienced teacher in successfully dealing with children and their reading problems. Thirty years teaching, every grade from Pre-K to eighth, has given her the ability to deal with different learning needs, personalities and attitudes. She has discovered that each child learns in a different manner, and every child is a unique challenge. This understanding and challenge motivated Mrs. Hardy to develop a reading program called: Parent Power (a once a week Parent/Child /Teacher workshop). Through this program the average child made two years of progress in one year. By incorporating Parent Power into a home learning kit Mrs. Hardy developed Quick Start Reading. She would like to share her unique teaching techniques with the entire learning world by making reading fun and easy!
